Classic Manhattan Loft with original hard wood floors, high ceilings, and open north light available for photo and video shoots. The floor plan spreads over 4,200sf . The two distinct shooting spaces comfortably accommodate simultaneous video/still productions or separate staging/shooting areas. The loft features an open conference/dining area, two client seating spaces, exposed brick, full service kitchen, and a large freight elevator (65"x 94"open top) that opens into the space. The studio is fully equipped with a substantial selection of grip and lighting equipment available on site. Basic grip package is included with daily rental. Lights, grip, expendables also avaialble. Your personal equipment can be brought in if preferred. We are centrally located in the NoMad district off of Park Avenue South and a short block walk from Madison Square Park. The flower district and several prop houses are close by. There is parking on East 24th Street and the N, R, 4, 5 and 6 subway lines and multiple Citi Bike docking stations are nearby. Daily and weekly rentals are available. At Armory Lofts you’ll get prewar charm with modern convenience and professionalism.

• Location: 

We are centrally located in the NoMad district of Manhattan close to restaurants, prop houses, the flower district, Eataly, a block away from Madison Square Park.   

• Parking and Transportation:

There are several parking garages close by and we are a few blocks from the 4,5,6,N and R trains as well as numerous Citibike docking stations.

• Natural Light

The space faces North and has natural north light that you can use or block out. Because we face the Armory Roof, there are no tall buildings across from us.

• Studio Access

Crew can use the building’s standard or freight elevator to access the studio. The equipment can be loaded through the large service elevator which opens directly into the space.

• Electrical

We have a 200 amp service with 20 amp dedicated plugs throughout the shooting areas.

House Rules

• No Smoking in the building. Service Elevator hours 8:30 - 4:30. Passenger Elevator 24hrs

• All ages are allowed in the space

• Production insurance is required

• Most Furniture and decor may be moved to suit your needs (All returned to it’s original position after the shoot of course)

• Nudity is allowed
