Because we want to keep our prices reasonable to make our Toronto photo studio accessible to all guests. It’s SUPER hard to clean sticky floors, so please be responsible.– What happens if you leave the space in a dirty and untidy, and therefore un-rentable condition? A $249 minimum cleaning fee (+$150 more for a deep clean). This rarely happens, as most people at least act in the spirit of trying to keep the space tidy. While Management has taken reasonable efforts to maintain THAT Toronto Studio and Equipment, Renter shall assume responsibility and liability for all of their own conduct and actions inside of THAT Toronto Studio. Renter agrees to hold harmless, and release Management of all liability should anyone injure themselves, anyone else, or break any Equipment. By using THAT Toronto Studio, Renter agrees that this security footage will be captured and if required, passed on to the proper authorities. Management does not intend to release the footage publicly and Management checks it on an as-needed basis or in the case of complaints or foul-play. Further, Renter must keep out of designated private areas since that will trigger the alarm system and as a result we will be penalized by our alarm monitoring company for the false alarm. Failure to stay out of designated private areas will issue you a fine of $300 and you will potentially be escorted off the property by police officers if we are not available to tell them otherwise. BE SMART.REFUNDS: Renter understands that no shows or negligence will not be refunded. This means that even if Renter “thought” they had booked on another date but didn’t, Management shall not be required to fulfil even a partial refund. Cancellations or alterations to bookings may be made by either party within 24 hours of a booking having been confirmed. After this, there will be no refunds for cancellations or alterations unless Management needs to cancel, in which case Renter will receive a full refund. Renter therefore agrees to assume responsibility for the accuracy of their booking when placing it.ACCESS TO EQUIPMENT: Management shall assume responsibility for notifying Renter about (1) how to use the gear they have rented, via a link to a video which can be found on the Studio FYI page of THAT Toronto Studio’s website, (2) providing instructions on how to access the gear, and (3) ensuring the correct alarms guarding the gear shall be disabled for Renter to access to gear without issue.DISRUPTION IN SERVICE / UNFULFILLED SERVICES: Should there be any interruptions to Renter’s service such as power outages, construction noise during audio capture, or Renter not being able to find THAT Toronto Studio or get inside, Renter agrees to bear this responsibility in full. Management provides clear instructions to the Renter regarding how to access THAT Toronto Studio in the booking confirmation email. If Renter does not receive this email within 1 hour of booking, Renter shall be responsible to ask Management for this information via email and to confirm the code within 48 hours of their rental because the code frequently changes. Therefore, should Renter be unable to access THAT Toronto Studio despite clear instructions, Management shall not be held liable. Renter is solely responsible for all their own expenses and THAT Toronto Studio nor Management shall not be held liable for any expenses Renter incurred as a result of being unable to complete their scheduled project inside of THAT Toronto Studio. Renter understands that they may be entitled to financial compensation in the case of Management’s failure to provide the space for rental, and as such, any and all compensation shall be limited to a refund in full of all fees paid to Management related to the rental in question. Further, Renter agrees to not hold Management responsible for actions and occurrences outside of Management’s control. Just to name a few, this includes situations such as unexpected construction noise, the heater not working, odd smells as a result of the last renter.INSURANCE: Renter agrees that since they must assume all liability, Renter either has existing liability insurance or plans to purchase this insurance prior to the shoot. Management does not check for insurance, therefore Renter assumes all responsibility in the case of insurance not being purchased.OUTSTANDING BALANCES: Prior to using any Equipment provided by Management for use in THAT Toronto Studio, Renter shall ask for permission and clarification on any restrictions imposed upon Equipment. After completion of the rental, Renter shall notify Management at +1-909-693-3899 or THATTorontoStudio@gmail.com of all Equipment used and/or consumed. Upon receiving the invoice for their outstanding balance, Renter shall pay their balance in full within 24 hours.LAST UPDATED: November 1, 2019
