Kip Studios
The studio is in a perfect location right off the Western Blue Line train, within walking distance of several great restaurants and has an outdoor porch at your convenience.
Handpainted graphic room of black and white checkerboard makes it a truly one-of-a-kind space and a large white studio room with a soft reflective mylar ceiling gives any photo or video project an unmatched lighting setup.
About our studio
LAYOUT/FURNITURE The space has two separate living spaces, one of which is hand painted checker board from floor to ceiling. The checkered space is free of most furniture, and has a tire swing and green neon mounted on the wall. The white room has a collection of curated vintage furniture that MUST be completely picked up when moving and returned to it's place. There is a makeshift bar, 2 high top long tables. Bathroom is in the white room. The total sq ft. is 1500.

HOURS extra charges will be applied to events or productions past 11pm. discounts will be offered to 8+ hour productions 1 hour bookings will be $175 and the rate will be as listed for 2+ hours
ALCOHOL no alcohol should be consumer or sold without prior consent.
PROPS/BACKDROPS Backdrops, fabric, props, soft boxes and tripod available at additional fee.
Charges only reflect hours booked. Any over time or early time over 15 min will be charged at 1.5x the rate as per SFA policy. Please include your setup and breakdown time in your bookings.
