Terms and Conditions

General Rules

First and foremost, we sincerely want each person who enters our space to feel welcome and taken care of. To help us achieve this goal, we ask that our guests please treat our space with care and respect.

Highlights:

• Certificate of Insurance required for booking

• Crew max is limited to 15 people during Covid

• 10 hours is a full day, overtime billed at 1.5x hourly rate. 12 hours max

• No cleaning fee, no cyc painting fees, or additional charges for our basic grip package!

Operating Hours & Total Time of Rental

Our hours are 7:00 am – 10:00 pm, 7 days a week. The start time for each booking will begin at the time requested when booked and will end after all guests & production crew members have left our space. If you go over your time, you will be billed for your extra time. Any partial hour will be charged as a full hour.

Crew Size

Crew sizes 15 or more people will be charged a flat rate of $150. Our max capacity is 25 people.

Insurance

At least 24 hours prior to your booking, all renters of our space are required to provide a certificate of insurance (COI) for your booking to be accepted. Bookings will not be confirmed until your COI is submitted and complete. If you need assistance obtaining a one-day COI, we will be happy to help.

Our minimum insurance requirements are:

•Commercial General Liability Insurance: $1,000,000 per occurrence & $2,000,000 aggregate

•Property/Physical Damage: $100,000

•Additional Insured/Certificate Holder: Moon Seven Collective LLC, 2349 S Santa Fe Ave, Unit A, Los Angeles, CA 90058

Overtime Charges, Overnight Storage Fee, & Short Notice Fee

For any bookings over 10 hours, overtime charges will apply at a rate of $112/hr. No bookings shall last longer than 12 hours. If all guests and/or production crew have not left the space within 12 hours, you will be charged 3x our rate ($225/hr) for every hour or partial hour until your crew has left our space.

If you would like to book our space for consecutive days, we offer guests the option to store their equipment in our space overnight for a fee of $125.

If you request to book our space less than 24 hours before the start of your booking, our hourly rate increases to $150/hour and your COI must be submitted by 5pm that day.

Cleaning, Trash, & Production Expendables

We request that our guests & their production crews dispose of all trash and recyclables in the bins provided. Any larger, non-reusable trash items must be disposed of in the large trash/recycling dumpsters in our parking lot.

Use of smoke grenades or open flames are strictly prohibited in our space. Use of powder, flour, chalk, confetti, glitter, or any other hard-to-clean substances will result in the charge of an additional $100 cleaning fee.

We provide gaffe tape rolls, and booties for reasonable prices.

Cyc Wall Use & Care

The cyc wall is provided "as-is" at the beginning of each booking. This means there may be minor scuff marks or other signs of normal wear on the cyc wall floor, but the cyc walls will be clean. If you require a freshly painted cyc wall floor for your booking, just let us know and we will paint it free of charge.

If use of the cyc wall results in excessive marks, or damage to the floor beyond normal wear & tear, or if the curved portions of the cyc wall or the vertical portion of the cyc wall require painting after booking, a $50 painting fee will be charged.

Guests and production crew are prohibited from walking or placing anything on the curves of the cyc wall. Doing so can cause the curves of the cyc wall to crack. If anyone who is a part of the guest’s production crew creates a crack in the cyc wall curve, a $100 repair fee PER CRACK will be charged.

Smoking & Vaping

We have a designated smoking area just outside our studio. However, smoking and/vaping inside our space is STRICTLY prohibited. Any violation of this rule will incur a $250 smoking penalty – no exceptions.

Accompanied Children & Underage Models/Actors

No children under 12 are allowed into our space without prior notice. Please let us know upon booking if you need to bring a child under 12 into our space so we can discuss whether we can accommodate this request.

Any renter of our space is solely responsible for verifying that all models/actors are of legal age and/or that the proper minor talent release forms are obtained and completed. We also reserve the right to request proof of a fully executed minor talent release form if we suspect that a minor under the age of 18 is a subject of your shoot. If you fail to provide such proof upon request, we will regrettably be forced to immediately end your booking and no refunds for unused time will be remitted.

Pets & Animals

Unfortunately, we cannot allow pets and/or animals into our space.

An exception may be possible if the pet or animal is a subject/actor in the shoot. Please let us know upon booking if you need to bring a pet or animal into our space so we can discuss whether we can accommodate this request.

Furniture and decorations may be moved

Only some furniture/decor can be moved.  As this is also our living space, some decor and furniture is delicate and cannot safely be moved.  Nothing from the Pink room or library may be used or moved out of that area.  The dining chairs can be moved and used in the studio as well as our 2 white benches.  Anything else that a production would like to move, please ask your studio manager for permission and assistance.  We keep the space clear and open so there usually is not a need to move furnishings out of the way.

No smoke machines allowed.

Nudity is allowed.

Security Cameras and Recording Devices

We have a Ring doorbell and 3 security cameras that are motion activated.  All are outside of the studio.
