Terms and Conditions
LIABILITY
Client agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold VENUE and THINGS TO LOOK AT STUDIOS, LLC, its landlord, building owners, officers, employees, agents, and representatives harmless of and from any liabilities, costs, penalties, or expenses arising out of and/or resulting from the rental and use of the premises. In the event THINGS TO LOOK AT STUDIO and THINGS TO LOOK AT STUDIOS, LLC, its landlord, building owners, officers, employees, agents, and/or representatives are required to file any action in court in order to enforce any provisions of this agreement, Client agrees to pay THINGS TO LOOK AT STUDIO and THINGS TO LOOK AT STUDIOS, LLC, its landlord, building owners, officers, employees, agents, and/or representatives, all reasonable attorney fees, court fees, and costs of suit incurred by THINGS TO LOOK AT STUDIO and THINGS TO LOOK AT STUDIOS, LLC, including all collection expenses and interest due.
SITE DECORATION
Client may prepare decorations reflecting their creative requirements. We ask that only VENUE staff rearrange and move any furnishings, including, but not limited to mirror. Only low tack tape is allowed on our floors and walls. Any damages will be charged after your production.
CONDUCT
There is absolutely no drug use or smoking of any kind on premises. Any type of physical violence will not be tolerated and will be cause for immediate expulsion. Client and guests shall use the premises in a considerate manner at all times.
Conduct deemed disorderly at the sole discretion of VENUE staff shall be grounds for immediate expulsion from the premises and conclusion of the rental period. In such cases NO refunds will be honored.
AUDIO RECORDING
THINGS TO LOOK AT STUDIO is not sound proofed. VENUE cannot guarantee at any time that noise from outside the studio including but not limited to music, voices, footsteps, general use of neighboring studio spaces will not be present. CLIENT agrees audio recordings are created at their own risk and may pick up these sounds.
DATE/TIME CHANGES
In the event the Client is forced to change the date/time of the production, every effort will be made to accommodate these changes. However, VENUE cannot guarantee availability of the studio or staff outside of confirmed dates/times. Additional time used outside of the contracted timeframe will be billed to the Client, by the half hour as follows: 1.5x hourly rate before 10pm, 2xhourly rate after 10pm.
LOAD-IN/LOAD-OUT
All load-ins and load-outs must take place within the designated time-frame. VENUE is not responsible for handling any items brought into the venue.
GUEST ENTRY
Renter is welcome to bring guests and shall maintain responsibility for their actions while in THINGS TO LOOK AT STUDIO and the surrounding premises. VENUE staff are not responsible for letting guests in the building.
STORAGE
Limited storage is available onsite, and only with the express permission of VENUE staff. Storage fees will be applied to any items left overnight or beyond normal load-in/load-out times.
CLEANING, TRASH AND EQUIPMENT REMOVAL
VENUE will be in clean condition prior to your production. Within the rental timeframe, you are required to return the space to the same clean condition in which it was found. All trash must be collected and properly bagged by the client. Guests MAY NOT leave trash on the curb or anywhere inside the building.
Client is responsible for any and all damages to VENUE, its furnishings, equipment, and props. Client will be charged a cleaning fee if more than reasonable housekeeping is necessary due to Client’s actions in the studio.
STAFF ACCESS TO PREMISES
Client agrees that VENUE staff may enter and exit premises during the course of the production. A representative of VENUE will be on site during your entire production. We will be available for questions or to respond to needs or issues that may arise at any time.
LOST AND FOUND
VENUE and THINGS TO LOOK AT STUDIOS, LLC take no responsibility for personal effects and possessions left on premises during or after any production. We do, however, maintain a lost and found and will hold recovered items up to 30 days. Every attempt will be made to return any recovered item to its rightful owner.
