Dakota Studio's West Stage features an open shooting kitchen stocked with all of the necessities. A moveable, camera facing stove makes it easy for filming your chef in action. West light flows through four large eight foot windows. Alternatively, we also have complete blackout capability. A lighting grid over the kitchen stage makes it even easier to create exactly the look you want.For larger kitchen productions that require behind the scenes prep space, you can also rent our East Studio prep kitchen which provides a four burner electric stove with a full oven, sink, microwave and under the counter fridge space. Our rare open set shoot-in bathroom, also located in the West Stage, is the ideal location for all of your cosmetic and personal product shoots, as well as textile and lifestyle productions. The set includes a designer vanity as well as a stylish claw foot tub. All of the plumbing is fully functional. 4'x8' custom wall panels, with or without molding, are available for in house rental to create additional background walls. An 8'x8' subway tile wall is also available for in house rental. 

Rounding out the West Stage is our 20'x20' two walled cyclorama.

Green Screen painting may be requested with a minimum of 2 days notice. Please call for details. In house fabric green screens available for rental as well. 

Catering:  The Union Square area is home to countless amazing culinary establishments.  We have menus on site for many restaurants and delis  and we are happy to assist you with ordering for delivery to the studio.

Deliveries:

We are happy to accept reasonable deliveries prior to your shoot during regular business hours. All deliveries MUST be scheduled with us in advance as we may have other productions in the studio and need to plan accordingly. We ask that you provide us with a list of deliveries as well as a contact person and phone number for each expected delivery. “Load in” of equipment that takes longer than 15 minutes prior to your shoot date will be billed as hourly overtime.
